New Dominator 850MX Brushless Motor

Align are offering since May 6th the new Brushless Motor for power hungry pilots, developed from the previous 800MX.
This new motor is from the new Dominator Series and it's nothing like ever before seen from Align. This bad boy boasts torque, power and consistency through 3D flight,

850MX 450KV Motor - Suitable for T-Rex 700E/800E 3D (Can be utilized with 120&160ESC)

850MX 540KV Motor - Suitable for T-Rex 700E 3D (Must with 160A Brushless ESC)

Notice: Make sure to have the correct gear ratio setup for the 850MX 490KV motors:

850MX 490KV for T-Rex 700E Motor gear 13T/ Main Gear 110T

850MX 490KV for T-Rex 800E Motor gear 12T/ Main Gear 112T

This brushless motor is worth getting even if your not POWER hungry, a big step up from the 800MX.

Align Fun Fly Japan 2013

Two days ago 4th of May Japan had there 2013 fun fly event. There were a total of twelve pilots who come from Japan. Very exciting Align had two master pilots from Align at the event they were Alan Asabo Jr and Kenny Ko. 

Looks like the event was great with sunny weather.

Annual Hobby Expo China 2013

The annual hobby expo in Beijing China has just started from today. Going from 29th April - 1st May. The Align team have put in a lot of effort into there both for displaying the new year products and older products.

New Align Carbon Tail Blades and Rotor Blades

The new Carbon Blades where released almost about a month and i just found out.

The tail blade is 105mm long and the rotor blades are 700mm long. These beauties have been available since the 19th of March. More info in the video below.

I'm defiantly buying a pair of these.

Charmouth UK Season Opener Fun Fly

Looks like it was a fun weekend at the UK season opener fun fly. There were over 200 pilots who where at the event. The weather was brilliant over the weekend as well, with all the different helicopters that where there Align were the dominate brand.

Finding the best rc helicopter for you

Finding the best rc helicopter for yourself can be a difficult choose.  But the question is which one is the best for you?

I myself am still trying to find a single rotor collective pitch helicopter to start on and move away from the quadrocopters. But fortunately Rchelicopterfun.com has helped me find the best beginner helicopter to start with here and not waste any money on scams and poor quality helicopters.

The Align Trex 450 Plus in Flight

From watching that video this bird looks like a great piece of machinery and very beautiful. I'm certainly going to have great fun with this bird in my spare time.

I shall be buying this bird and further buying more as i progress through this hobby and last i will be writing a review on this bird after I've bought it and flown it.

The new Align T-Rex 700e is going to be a popular pick for RC Pilots who want bang for the buck. From the previous models that have been sold it looks like Align are a popular brand for RC helicopters pilots and that looks like I have answered my own question should i buy a Align T-Rex? Definitely.

Introduction into RC Helicopters

I have decided to get back into the fun an rewarding hobby of flying RC Helicopters. After finally flying the RC Helicopter I bought half a year ago which is the Revell Big One Pro for the first time two days ago.

The experience was amazing, even though I didn't get it off the ground. The second day of flying I got the heli off the ground an flying in the air.

Finally I'm planning to buy a new single rotor collective pitch helicopter, if any one has any recommendations on what to buy please comment.

I shall be making new blog posts on new RC Helicopters an related stuff.
